My intention is to create an abstract painting that is not just visually pleasing but also offers an emotional connection which holds meaning for both myself as the creator, as well as you the viewer. The choice of my colour palette and the mark making I use to express and convey this inner dialogue is carefully considered.

My realistic paintings encourage the viewer to notice the beauty in the every day that surrounds them by magnifying the scale. This in turn demands a physical interaction with the painting making the larger than life image hard to ignore, adding impact to the space in which it resides.

Art and styling interiors are inextricably linked, both aesthetically and emotionally.
Art is fast becoming recognised as an essential component of a home and an important element in the creation of a scheme, providing the inspiration and feel within the space, and more often than not influencing the the colours, fabrics, finishes and style.
Taking into account the character and style of your home, current trends in design and the latest colours are all factors that I consider when creating a painting or styling your space. But just as important is the emotional component experienced within that space. This is what I try to capture.
Utilising my years of experience with colour and design principles has given me the ability to see what is required to build a cohesive story that flows and sits well in your particular space. By also being able to tap into the vast furniture and accessories supplier base that work specifically with decorators and designers, a beautiful space can become a reality for you.
